The Pivot
Prelude to a New Blog

Prelude
I’ve always been a bit of a chameleon. I tend to comfortably adapt to my environment with my core values intact. Each iteration of me is not an extreme reach from any other, but I nonetheless dabble in multiple universes and always have.
As you can imagine, this regular changing of environs can be fun and exciting while confusing and discombobulating at times. To assist me with sorting out the multiple pathways of thoughts and ideas in my head, I’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of Estee, my 20 year old daughter, and do a frequent brain dump in the form of a blog/journal entry. I’m so proud of her and proud that she has led me to this path. Coincidentally, she decided to force herself to write every day right after I had heard Seth Godin talk about his daily routine of writing and shipping a blog - 8500+ days and going strong. She’s not that prolific but her entries are GOLD!
Since I have all these different worlds and experiences in my head, I’m going to stick to a theme of writing about one of them in each entry. I’ve decided to go with 7 topics, and I will write something related to one of those topics every day entry.
Sports
Business/Crypto/Investing/Retirement
NYC/Brooklyn
Physical Therapy/Health/Fitness
Family
Music/Food/Culture
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
These may seem generic but I expect to take each one in multiple tangents. So maybe I’m going to write about anything and everything but every entry needs to tie into one of these 7 topics. Topics may change if they get dry - my blog, I get to make the rules.
Not sure if I’ll publish or not - probably at some point. Maybe just the best ones. Not gonna do it for now but it may increase my accountability - decisions, decisions (Topic 7). (As you can see, I decided to publish. I’m not comfortable with this decision because it involves more personal topics than writing strictly about crypto but it feels like a healthy thing to do. Try not to judge too hard.)
That’s the prelude - seeya’ around - early and often.
